Multiple Cost Adjustment Presentation

Changes have been made to the presentation of the export, SSRS, and Echo formats of the cycle and exception bills to include multiple cost adjustments when they exist. This allows the utility manager to clearly see the cost adjustments that contribute to the bill. The Bill detail in Customer Service also reflects situations where multiple cost adjustments are in use.

Cycle and Exception Bills

The SSRS and Echo cycle and exception bills, as well as the eSuite SSRS bill (if in use), show each cost adjustment as a separate Charge Code. This breakdown provides a billing register presentation for an individual bill. ClosedView SSRS bill

Bill Export

Cost adjustments are broken out of the charge category and shown as separate charges on the cycle bill and exception bill exports. In the export files, the Charge Category and the Transaction Detail nodes will return multiple cost adjustments when they exist. Cost adjustments rates are included in the header node.

To allow CSR's to more fully respond to customers' questions about their charges, the Bill Detail page now displays all cost adjustments individually in the Charge Category section. Each entry displays the name and the amount of the cost adjustment. ClosedShow me

Billing Register

If the Charges Summary check box is selected in the preferences, charge summary totals will be included on the report. If multiple cost adjustments are used, the cost adjustment contribution will be broken out in this section.
